A little bit of Whiz Kids trivia for today...

Who remembers what the computer system was named?

On a side note, we all looked so serious in this picture!
We really meant business. ;)

    1. Thank you! My guess is that we didn't make enough episodes for DVD release. Just a guess though!

    2. A lot of shows that lasted less time than Whiz Kids have been released on DVD. It deserves to be on DVD!

I remember watching the show back when and when you look at "Ralf" that system looks like a Fisher-Price toy compared to the desktop system of today. Don't think I could netsurf on Ralf ;)

  4. Yes, It was Ralf. A present for the Richie's father.
I'm waiting for my DVDs. I loved this show.
It would be great to have more episodes.
Nice to hear from you here.
    Sorry for my English.
    Regards.

  5. It's name was Ralf. And "it's not a he, it's an it" Richie would say. And Ralf kept braking down in one episode and it made Richie, Ham, and Jeremy fail their English paper. Ah such an amazing show. Do you know why it didn't go on for more seasons? The show was funny and relatable.

  6. :) I'm sorry, my english is very bad.
I don't know the reason it didn't go on for more seasons. I only was waiting for new seasons and they didn't arrives. It was one of the best shows when I was a child... In my opinion, of course :)
    Regards.

  8. Don't mind me, I have a mind for details. What I remember about "RALF" --
    * Had an extravagant amount of memory for the day -- 48K!
    * Was a home build, not an off-the-shelf machine
    * Name was an acronym for something but now I forget. Guesses?
    * Powered a robotic arm
    * Used an acoustic coupler-type modem. (Guessing the hypothetical speed was something like 300 mbps -- which I not-so-fondly remember as the cursor-scroll era to loading a page.)

Watched every episode of this short-lived show. Would love to see it again.
